Exercises to get rid of that annoying Armpit Fat

When it comes to women… most of them are complaining about their body fat and especially the fat in certain places on their body, like the double chin, the belly and that unattractive fat that sits right there between the side boob and by  armpit. Here are a few exercises that are going help assist in this area, but before I go any further, you need to understand when I comes to fat reduction…we cannot SPOT reduce Fat!

So in order to get rid of armpit fat or fat from any parts of the body we have to reduce our over all body fat through exercising and also eating a well-balanced diet. Therefore a full body workout consists of both cardio and strength training. This can help to reduce body fat and also to get rid of armpit fat.

An Effective Workout to Get Rid of Armpit Fat

This workout will aim to tone the ‘armpit fat’ area through chest exercises which also include shoulders and arm muscles. So all you will need is a pair of moderate weight dumbbells (4-6 kg each). You can do these exercises on a mat, on a bench or on a Yoga ball which will make it more challenging. Let’s get started!

Chest press – 35 reps…

Lie on your back and with your dumbbells in your hands; press up with your arms locking them out at the top. Make sure they are in line with your chest. Keep your knees bent and your feet flat on the floor. Now bring the dumbbells down towards your chest, slow and steady, touching the floor with your elbows return slowly to the starting position. Repeat this for another 34 reps……

To increase armpit fat reduction, you need to perform:

  • 10 slowly chest press exercises;
  • 10 quickly chest press exercises;
  • 5 slowly;
  • pulse 10 times (half way through);

Staggered push up – 16 Reps…

 

Push ups is one of the best upper body workouts as well as body weight exercises; and it really tones the entire ‘armpit fat’ area. Instead of the normal push up, for the staggered push up you need to place one arm at the chest level and one arm about 8cm forward. This will challenge your arms even more. Do 8 reps on each side…..

Dumbbell Flyes – 20 reps

 

These are a must do to get rid of armpit fat! This exercise really works on the exact area we want and definitely will tone it up.

 

Start from the same position as the chest press. With arms up and palms facing inward, dumbbells touching. Slowly open arms down to your sides, keeping arms bent slightly; until the upper arm touches the floor then squeeze and move it up. Control your moves slowly to incorporate every single chest and arm muscle.

 

To increase armpit fat reduction, you need to perform:

  • 10 slowly fly exercises;
  • 10 quickly fly exercises;
  • 5 slowly flies;
  • pulse 10 times (half way through);

Take a one minute rest between sets and repeat this workout to get rid of armpit fat 2 or 3 times. Do this 2-3 times weekly combined with your total body cardio and strength training. With consistency you will be able to wear sleeveless tops by the time summer arrives!
